If you use something like borg backup the first upload will take you forever but after that all you have to upload is the data that changed. I had the same problem as you and that's how I solved it.

when I used IRC i used thelounge. it was great as an IRC client. ive since moved on to Matrix but if i were to go back to IRC id probably use thelounge again.

Its really convenient if you've got a group of friends spread out across the country for gaming. The voice channels allow people to jump in and out at will. No calling each other. That and bots are really eady to build for it. Sure its all unencrypted but im not putting anything of real value into it.

Not to mention I haven't seen one of these 3rd party voters mention Ukraine. The Dems are the only thing standing between Russia and a lot more Ukrainians dying. If nothing else, vote Dem for them.
