I always wondered if thats really true for smaller musicians . I mean you get bigger share of subscription money without label and you should come out on top over cd eventualy if pepole are listening to your music. The only diffrence being that you get your money over time instead of an imidieate boost. I get this feeling its just the case of more music being made than ever before.

Also how does revenue sharing works in case of games. In case of music its pretty easy but in case of games i am not sure how that works.

That would explain why out of all of Skyrim i only remember the fact that you could kill the girl that invites you to dark brotherhood amd subsequently destroy it.

You underestimate how old average cars in some countries are. 15 years old in Poland for example. They are from times where smartphones were barerly a thing. And thats average. Many are even older.

Its not exatcly how it works( at least in poland ). You usualy get x amount of free days( 20 or 25 depending on how much you worked )that you can take plus free days for public reasons weddings, blood donation etc... Its just that its usualy june/july/August. Some companies opt out to just give all their employees days off on the same day since they cant really function if half of their worforce wants to go on vacation at the same time and those that need to function all the time do the nescessary magic to somehow maintain the nescessary pepole. In essence its not mandatory but rather customary and non tourist cities( or non tourist areas ) in Poland(europe) kinda die off for a month or two.

Its probably just cheaper. Honestly i am not sure how many pepole there are that usb 3.0 speeds are even a consideration when buying a phone. I honestly dont know how it works on iphones but i know many androids dont have usb 3.0 also. In fact ive rarely even seen usb speeds mentioned anywhere . I know my phone has usb 3.0 but i have ridicolously overspeced asus rog phone( which has 2 USB c one 3.0 and one 2.0 port and that's probably the only reason they even mentioned it )

Do they need usb 3.0 speeds tho?

[-] szczuroarturo@programming.dev 1 points 1 year ago

I mean with 400 Mbps its still like 3 seconda per gigabit/byte( not realy sure which one usb speed is mesured ) . Its possible that its the internal storage speed thats the limiting factor ( or the itune app on Windows ) if its that slow.

I usualy agree with this but here is a thing USB 2.0 is really not that slow. I higly doubt you need faster data transfers on a phone.

Thats not always true. If i remember correctly i had a problem updating something through pop shop and thats exatcly what i got. Updating through Cmd on the other hand showed me what the problem was(Which is what i do exclusivly right now) .

[-] szczuroarturo@programming.dev 1 points 1 year ago

Thats apps not system upgrades we are talking about and even then there is a little number on the shop icon with the Number of updates Available.

But Yes typing sudo apt update(or upgrade im not realy sure right now ) followed by flatpak update is way easier, but much less clear for non technical users who are extremly scared of cmd for some reason.
