As you said, the younguns don't vote, and the ones dumb enough not to vote for Biden over this weren't going to vote for him anyway. The sooner I never hear the phrase "on TikTok" again, the better.

I could send you a PC.

This sub merely asks for questions but instead we got a wall of indignant text about how you will pre-ignore any solutions to your complaint.

Quicksy seems like a solution in search of a problem, but Conversations is awesome and this pisses me off. Fuck google. They can't get antitrusted fast enough, and neither can fruitco. These platforms should not be kingmakers, with app developers living or dying by their hand. It's not like the play store even conveys any of the purported benefits of a walled garden, like safety from malware.

How about using a messenger that isn't beholden to the good graces of "a company?" XMPP has been around for ages. Setup a server and use it.

Run the candidate, then you can say these things without merely bloviating. I don't see anyone running against Biden who isn't a complete looney tune with zero chance of defeating the very real threat of fascism that again darkens our doorstep. I know it feels good to post the wall of text about how we need an alternative, but absent an alternative, complaining and refusing to participate helps nobody but the fascists.

Clergy are in a position of authority over these victims. Religion is a power structure and as they say, "power corrupts." That's all there is to it. It would seem to be that it takes a special kind of person to want to be clergy, and that person is very corruptible. The religious teachings themselves hardly figure into it.

If you're on linux, you can use netns to run the client in a namespace with only the tunnel interface. No VM necessary.

Well, back in the days of static everything, some OSes had every system command be a hard link to the same binary (just switching on argv[0], like busybox) so they could still share library pages. This was a big deal when your workstation only had 8MB of core. But to answer your question, I'm sure we will find out in the next few years with all of the garbage containerization and packaging systems popping up.
