Even though it's magnitudes lower than comparable models, Deepseek still cost millions to train. Unless someone's willing to invest this just to retrain it from scratch, you're left with the alignment of its trainers.

Haha how the hosts are mocking how guests dress. "A black... hoodie? Hm."

Yeah, it's pretty depressing. It's a bit of morbid curiosity on my part...

That's true for nuclear DNA, but there's genetic code outside of your nucleus, mitochondrial DNA, that you inherit 100% from your mother.

And that's only talking DNA, but you're more than your genetic code. All of the organelles, lipidic membrane, cytoplasm... was generated from the egg material.

I wonder why they hated school. Maybe the problem was the school and not the topic? Otherwise I feel sad for them disliking the topic they chose as a career path :(

I feel like there's so much interesting stuff out there, there must be something useful that they find at least interesting.

That's pretty nice, it's basically additional leave days! I still prefer European style with unlimited sick leave, but you need a certificate from your physician.

Somebody listened to this and can tell me what his rationale was? The unspoken reason is probably like less taxation for the rich and profit in the medical industry, but what are the "sensible" arguments he would be brave enough to formulate in public at the time? If it's about medical research and innovation, it could be assured by the government but "it's not the job of the state to ensure the people's well-being"? Or "people will get lazy if their health is not on the line"?
