Can't even read the website, as the third modal, the newsletter modal, refuses to close. Yeesh.

It seems that Steve Mould looks progressively more tired in his videos as he goes along.

Then you must be lost.

I saw it earlier. When I tried it, it still kept the ?utm=blah&rel=blargh stuff on the URL from FB. 🤷‍♂️

This thing just never worked for me. As in, the product was broken in several ways all of the time.

"32bit systems are a lot younger than 20 years"

I don't follow. The i386 is almost 40 years old now. Can you elaborate?

That's why I feel old. I don't want case windows, or RGB. It's all about the framerate and the score.

I enjoyed the book "Managing Humans: Biting and Humorous Tales of a Software Engineering Manager"

I've ended up on reddit for some search results over the weekend, but thankfully some of the subs are still private, so that is helping me break that habit.

I uninstalled RIF when reddit said they wouldn't back down. I'd already shredded my posts and comments.
I've been on reddit since the digg exodus, and I'm fine walking away from reddit over this. Reddit, too, shall pass.

I'm going to focus on fostering and contributing to good communities here and elsewhere. Reddit doesn't have a monopoly on our communities - we built them in spite of the actions of Huffman et al.
