Me too, but it’s very hard. So much stuff is becoming hard to do without the smartphone. I’m torn. But yeah, it would be cool to just have a dumb phone, mp3 player, and camera.
To add to the list: internment of Hungarian and Ukrainian Canadians in WWI in Canada (some other Eastern Europeans too); internment of Japanese Canadians in WWII in Canada.
I felt the same. Felt like a different show. Dropped it after 2-3 episodes. It’s OK for things to end. I don’t know why they always try to milk series until they are just no good anymore. This idea that they need years and years of seasons just because some fans are asking for it is the wrong way to go about creating good original content.
Whoa those are not cheap! Guess I’ll keep dragging on with my Intel Mac a while longer. le sigh
Yeah I was going to say the same. This is actually decent. My old office before they renovated to open plan looked a lot like this. I think I had that chair! And that ceiling! Hey, wait a minute! This IS my old office!!
You have to add Android now! I’d go with something like “cool, time for a new phone!”
The comments here are clear. Mullvad is the champion. Mullvad, what is best in life? “To evade your enemies’ servers, see their tracking wilt before you, and to hear the lamentation of the blocked ads.”
Also Google: “Oh! And P.S.: can we also have your lunch money? It’s for your own security, you see. You may starve, but you’re doing it securely. You’re welcome!”
Once you try avoiding sugar, your choices are pretty limited. I drank some pop when I was just starting to quit, but I knew it was just a temporary solution. On the bright side, you save money by drinking water most of the time. If we go out I’ll sometimes order those fake cocktails, but they are so expensive.
I’d love to try the Journal app, but I have a lot of data in a different journal app. Unless they offer a way to import, I’m likely sticking to my current one (Day One).
Learned a new term today: “sober curious.” I quit drinking 5 years ago, and never looked back. I wouldn’t mind some more variety for non-alcoholic drinks, especially those without sugar. Can’t have pop too often because it’s just sugar. Kombucha reminds me of beer so I avoid it. Fruit juices are full of sugar too. So it’s usually down to tea, coffee or water for me.
0.1 miles per gallon. From the store to the car this thing costs over $150 to operate.
