I would love for my food metaphors to come back
Lower Decks, the TNG episode was an amazing episode. I almost cried at the end - it was so sad and poetic as well and I agree that reviving her now would undo the beauty and weight of the TNG episode.
Can confirm that it's unavailable for me in the US as well, but if you VPN somewhere else, you can play it back.
Oh I didn't know that. Is there some (real life) Star Trek connection that brought them together or is it just some coincidence that they both are on Star Trek?
Regarding the LED wall, yeah, it was more obvious here. It felt like they were entering one of those gimmicky project-Van-Gogh-art-on-a-warehouse-wall tourist traps.
The episode where Uhura and Hemmer were trapped in the engine room was another one that stood out.
Make sure to select both.
Make sure to set your language settings to both UNDETERMINED and ENGLISH. It's some Lemmy bug.
I assume you know the Nitpicker's Guide to [...] Trekkers book series? It was such a fun book series from the 1990s. I even submitted my own nitpicks and Phil send me a membership card. Fun times.
Is this going to get fixed soon? This is massively misleading for new people who think that this sub isn't active.
Earlier I tried to post something and it only even allows me to pick Undermined only when creating the post. I couldn't even choose English.
Thanks.
Rowan J Coleman's Star Trek Retrospective series is superb and is what made his YouTube channel famous. He has now branched to other SciFi movies too which are equally interesting.
It's unfortunate that he said that he won't have in depth retrospectives about new Trek series but hopefully he'll change his minds when series like Discovery will end.
I would love for them to do a cross over show again but Roger Rabbit style.
