It is. And it's also terrible for privacy, but people do it with google as well.

How short is short-term?

With Overview you can get something very similar in Plasma, though you'd need to change the default shortcut to open it by just pressing the super key.

As I said, I like KeepassDX better as well. But the feature it is missing is critical for me unfortunately. I don't know why you think Keepass2Android is not updated though, the last release was 3 months ago.

I recommend going with regular backups and maybe something like docker. Then you just have to restore the config volumes and all the accounts should still be there.

I don't have a Framework laptop, but I'd assume that the storage expansion modules are seen as regular USB external drives. So if your BIOS has USB as the first priority boot option, it would boot whatever system is installed on there when it is plugged in, and boot the system on the internal storage when it isn't. I have a setup like that on my laptop with a WindowsToGo installation on an external SSD.

Why do you use SMB instead of just connecting to the different jellyfin servers directly via VPN?

I tried that, but neither option seems to work. At least not in Wayland programs, like Firefox. It works in Chromium because iirc that runs in Xwayland. That doesn't solve my issue with Wayland though.

Haven't tried it myself because I use Audiobookshelf but maybe cozy is what you're looking for

It's shit inside the Imperial Core as well. There are few people profiting a lot from it, and they try to give barely enough leftovers to enough of the population to stop them from resisting.

I ran Keepass synced through my Nextcloud for a long time as well, but I switched to Vaultwarden after loosing Passwords due to sync issues. Almost got locked out of an important account. Luckily I noticed it early enough to recover it through my Nextcloud's versioning. But since then I'm too paranoid to rely on a password manager without a reliable syncing mechanism built-in if I'm gonna use it daily on a range of different devices.
