A device without any specifications and five different operating system logos behind it. Forgive me, to say that I'm sceptical would be a gross understatement.

Perhaps a more believable post would include the specifications and a link to the supplier.

I can't wait to see the utility company being sued into the ground for attempting to extract money from its customers who didn't use their service.

What's next, MacDonald's going after health food stores?

Shell going after electric vehicle owners?

Whilst technically true, consider just how many CPU cycles Google wants to spend on your search query. In reality, as little as possible.

I'd be pretty comfortable in guestimating that the resources on your phone vastly exceed that.

Couple of things:

  1. Do you believe anything coming out of OpenAI when it's abundantly clear that they'll say anything to protect their bottom line.
  2. OpenAI are not the only people harvesting data and selling it to interested parties.
  3. There is no legal requirement to adhere to the standard and I'd be shocked if any court in the USA could understand the issue, let alone enforce a voluntary standard.
  4. The amount of automated data collection online is staggering. On my own services it accounts for 50% of the hits. Good luck with policing that.

Can't wait to read the headlines in 20 years:

"My 401Kids account was hacked and now I start with nothing"

And

"Dad uses 401Kids account used for hookers and blow"

And

"Buy now, save later, 401Kids account available for lay-by purchases "

I blocked it the very first time it appeared on my screen.

I'd be sharing that footage with your bank, their bank and the police.

The term has been embraced and extended by the bandwagon of popular "journalism" in exactly the same way as "artificial intelligence", "block chain" and plenty of others before then, "interactive multimedia", "internet ready", "plug and play", "desktop publishing" and "turbo" to name a "few".

Old enough to have used a cheque, pay with credit cards and a carbon copy click-clack machine, pay for tuition and getting paid pocket money in coins.

I'm young enough to be unlikely to ever own my own home, unable to officially retire until age 67 and likely unable to live on a pension by the time I'm eligible.

It's a thing of beauty!

I've been enjoying Calvin & Hobbs since they were originally published, yet, this is the very first time I've seen this episode.

If you're anything like me and find coloured text is often unreadable in a terminal window, here's the list of how to address the issue:
