Another first shave with a new sample, Cologne Russe was a lovely experience. Subtle, slightly powdery, with what smelled to me like a light cedar or oak note. I'm still developing a nose for these sorts of scents, so I could be way off base here!

Lather performed excellently as always. I'm growing to love the lower-structured lather that B&M provides. It still gives excellent slickness and a comfortable shave.

Have a great one y'all! โœŒ๏ธ

lol damn, that post is next level

I often wish they could just use their damn words, but perhaps this is good preparation for any possible children someday. :)

I'm glad I picked up a sample and curious to see how the scent changes in the EdT.

It's a very warm-yet-subdued scent. I get a bit of tobacco and musk, maybe a hint of vanilla. Overall it feels well-balanced. Definitely more restrained than Haverford, if you're familiar with that scent.

My first shave with this sample of Stirling Gentleman was very enjoyable. My wife liked the scent so much that she insisted I order the EdT for future use. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Overall a close and comfortable shave. For whatever reason, one of our cats yelled at me for the entire shave. Of course, as soon as I finished she settled down and slept. ๐Ÿ™„

Have a great one y'all! โœŒ๏ธ

Oh snap, an emacs plugin for your SOTD is next-level.

I wonder how much effort it would be to port to nvim... ๐Ÿค”

A great stankening this morning. Tabac always gives me a drama-free lather and shave.

Los Jabones de Joserra seems to have such interesting scents. Iโ€™d love to try some of their soaps one day.

Maybe Iโ€™ll see about finding some samples when I have a bit of space for more soap

First shave with my Autumn Glory sample, and I quite enjoyed it. I get notes of wet leaves, apple cider, and wet earth.

As always the lather was great. I still hold that Stirling performs best with a boar brush.

Have a good one all!

No need, I have a sample of Oro Valley kicking around. :)

Oro Valley is such a lovely scent for the fall.

I didn't have time to shave until late today, it was a super busy Sunday. Le Grande Chypre gave me an excellent lather and was a wonderfully comforting scent to end the day with.
