If this is God’s wrath it would have hit Washington. Clearly this is punishment for the Republican states who voted for Trump.

Of course lol, France got screwed hard by the US from the AUKUS submarine deal. Now the French military industry is going to get destroyed with billions and billions of dollars of US weapons (read: military contracts) flooding Ukraine and Israel.

France is not a major weapons provider for Israel, shipping military equipment worth 30 million euros ($33 million) last year, according to the defense ministry's annual arms exports report.

I feel like radical purges are needed in both Russia and China. There is simply no other way to stop liberalism - this is what I am coming to terms with.

China is going to do fine with or without the liberals because its economy is way too strong for the imperialists to kill by this point, however if China continues with its liberal tendency the rest of the world could be in trouble.

China has to step up and lead the world away from the mainstream neoliberal doctrine or else we might end with China surviving well but the rest of the Global South under siege by the declining but still disproportionately influential imperial regime.

You called it. Honestly this whole saga (I also feel like I am the only person here who is obsessed with Russia’s economy) has made me questioned a lot of my previous assumptions.

I was way too optimistic about “historical forces” sweeping away the “liberal ideology” in Russia. I am starting to come to terms that Stalin’s radical and brutal purge, which I used to be critical about, was what gave the Soviet economy a good 25 year run before Khrushchev brought liberalism back and infected the Soviet bureaucracy with rotten ideas. Historical force can only manifest its effects if there is human agency to act on it.

I’m kinda broken at this point and that’s probably how the revolutionaries felt too in 1905. Not to worry though, only 12 more years to go assuming the world has not burned down by then. The question then is, are there radical left wing forces remaining in Russia? Will they emerge?
