I guess it’s time to go back to torrenting movies and shows. I literally come from a generation that used to watch 40 part movies on youtube playlists. Bring it on Netflix.

I know it’s the old round pin we used for phones back in the day but can someone send me a link to the exact one because I’m seeing too many round pin charges of different sizes. Also where do I go for tech help related questions like these? Is this the right community?

I used to hate fresh tomatoes and basically anything with tomato when I was a kid. Now I’ve got used to every thing that’s made out tomatoes but still can’t eat fresh/raw tomatoes. I think it’s the texture for me and sometimes it’s okay to not like some things.

Well I find the chocolates and candies too sweet. I can’t eat a whole bar at once and I’m slowly moving towards chocolates with less sugar or no sugar. Also I hate white chocolate now.

It has two components that bring the bright red color. One of them is Gochujang- a fermented chilli paste which is not at all spicy but has a strong umami flavour. The second one is gochugaru- red chilli flakes which are pretty spicy. If you’re trying to make Kimchi you can totally skip it.

If you get to try Kimchi at a restaurant it’s probably not too spicy and mellow.

No it’s mostly uses a base that has either fish sauce/oyster sauce/shrimp paste/anchovies etc. I’m not Korean but I have made Kimchi a lot of times and I’ve noticed that every family/bloggers have a different version of Kimchi. So it’s a very versatile dish and takes a couple of tries to get it right based on your preferences.

That’s soo cool. Never thought a dialogue from Jurassic Park would prove itself right so many times.

It took me a while to gather all the ingredients but it turned out soo good. The container was empty in a week. Please don’t mind the slightly wonky picture.

Oof. The fruit kinda looks like a Raspberry though.

It was growing in full sun with no maintenance so basically a weed. Any help with identification would help.

That’s okay :)

Nope. Just wanted to drive traffic to other communities too. If this post doesn’t meet guidelines please take it down.

I planted about 50 Johnny jump up seeds and none of them made it. I just noticed this little guy growing in moss of all places on my neighbor’s wall. So don’t give up hope and I would like to ask people to spam the houseplant/garden related communities. I’m missing some greenery in the fediverse.

Here’s my July comment. It’s been a struggle getting used to lemmy but it’s still pretty early and I think I’m soo mad at Reddit that I being a lurker have decided to be more active and post more. It might take close to an year or so for more posts to show up and fill the communities so be patient and cut them some slack.
