I suggest spending it on additional defamation lawsuits against Donald Trump.

I know it's just memes, but, if anyone is interested in more perspective on this, I heartily recommend the book Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee. It tells the history of the latter parts of the Indian Wars using primary sources (and Native American sources, wherever possible). The result is the story of American expansion from the Native perspective and, while depressing, is also really important to understand.

But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

Or, was that behead your enemies?

I know this would vary from locale to locale, but, presumably, there are some animals that do not require a permit to kill (mice in mouse traps, for example). How does this work? Is there a list of "always OK to kill" species?

Edit: Thank you everybody for the replies!

Hi smart people,

If I have several computers on my home network and I have not set any explicit QoS rules on my router, how is bandwidth allocated? For example, if computer 1 is downloading a torrent at max speed and a second computer starts a download, how is the bandwidth allocation between the two determined? Thanks!

It just seems crazy to me given the power imbalance. A cynical part of me suspects that things are playing out exactly as some evil strategists hoped they would, which, given all the children dying, is super-depressing.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Do it, my friend. I took the leap ~5 years ago and have not once regretted it. You're right, you have Wine and Windows VMs available, if need be. But, honestly, I bet you end up replacing those work flows with better ones within Linux before long.

Look at it this way, this could have been a headline about the issues the union is striking over. Instead, it's a headline about a billionaire playing with internet checkmarks.

To add to this, the rich (i.e., French-speaking) consumed the most butchered meat, by far. So, it came to be that butchered meat for sale would be labeled in French, while the live animals, which were tended by (English-speaking) peasents retained their English names.
