It is more important now than ever to protect this last remaining green lung and important forest habitat for the endangered tapir.

However, the state government is more keen to find the land away to developers to build yet another generic high rise in the name of development.

The only way the Pakatan Government would listen is got the Chinese community to vote for PN. However, the Chinese community will always vote for Pakatan due to their undying loyalty to DAP.

Last week, Google was reprimanded for displaying the wrong US$ to RM exchange rate on March 15, 2024. Many had shared on social media that the Malaysian Ringgit had slumped to a rate of US$ 1 to 4.98.

Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil reminded the public not to share the wrong information about the currency exchange rate. He also sought clarification from Google about the erroneous data. Bank Negara Malaysia also dismissed Google’s displayed rate and clarified that the ringgit was quoted at RM4.7015 against the US dollar on March 15.

Umno Youth chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh today advised the owners of the KK Mart convenience chain to “find another business,” suggesting the convenience chain will go under from his call to boycott it over the “Allah” socks row.

“This boycott is not just for KK Mart, I want to tell you this boycott is for a lesson to any party that tries to play this very sensitive issue which is the 3R. You don't do wrong things and apologise, do something wrong and apologise. So with this boycott effort, we hope that after this there will be no more incidents and of course this will continue until we truly feel cured.

On Tuesday, Sultan Ibrahim expressed his disappointment and displeasure over the incident.

He said stern action must be taken against any party found to be responsible for the controversy, regardless of intent.
