It's really not that great, DEFINITELY not game of the year material. What would even make you say that? Because it's YOUR game of the year?
Other people have different standards other than "Slightly better graphics and slightly different combat" from a game that's been out for what, over a decade?
What a weirdly hostile take from someone just sharing their opinion about a game they, presumably, really liked.
Not that weird or hostile really, just a fair response to someone coming in and saying, "nah, this one" like an indecisive baby at a toy shop, with no reasoning or argument as to why their choice could be considered better.
People don't need to write an article for every little opinion they want to share. Guy was just trying to rep a game he liked. It can be that simple.
The "Naah" was sassy, what I'm not allowed to also have some sass?
Edit: Also have you not played Balatro? Absolutely deserving of the title.
Imho your comment was hugely disproportionate. Guy just shared a simple opinion and you practically wrote a think piece in it. I dunno, just doesn't match to me. I get far more hostile and sass vibes from your comment than his, when in reality you're both saying "no this".
Well I'm sorry if I offended your delicate sensibilities. My reaction was because not only is POE2 kind of crap for what it could be, but Balatro is fantastic. So for them to dismiss Balatro and then suggest such a mid game deserved some backlash. Either way, thanks for your input. I'll try to care more about proportionate response from this moment forward.

No, you're right. I'm offended that somebody would choose POE2 over Balatro and preface it with a "Naah" as if Balatro wasn't deserving, when it is essentially a modern day solitaire.
