It's located in inland North Carolina. Basically the stinky armpit of America, halfway between Washington D.C. and Jacksonville, Florida.

Foot Hood I think used to have the distinction of most dangerous military base due to crime, but they changed the name from a notoriously intemperate Confederate general protecting slavery to a Mexican-American general who made rank protecting colonialism by mass killing Koreans and Vietnamese.
