RULES
- Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
- Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
- Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
- Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world
- Keep it clean and SFW
- No solicitation such as ads, promotional content, spam, surveys etc.

90s tracker MODs are a frequent go to for me (I've yet to find a bad song by Necros, there's a good reason he was hired to compose for UT99)
I've always got Elephant 6 records on my rotation. In the Aeroplane is objectively Neutral Milk Hotel's best works, but I feel On Avery Island is still worth seeking out! The final track is fascinating to me from an audio engineering perspective (not so much from a "this is enjoyable music" perspective xD)
Been obsessed with Shpongle too! Haven't found a bad album yet.
I've also been listening through Steve Brenner's works. His album Signals popped up on my YouTube feed, and on a whim I bought his discography on Bandcamp. Dude even sent a personalized email as thanks, and we had a nice chat about music production for a bit.
