They posted online in a vain attempt to retain control of the next big platform, because messing with the social structure of the west is of key importance to them.

Don’t take the bait. Is a lie.

I mean Jesus, refugees? What a politically charged word to use lol

because messing with the social structure of the west is of key importance to them.

Compared to American companies like Meta and Twitter?

They want us distracted on racial lines so we don't pay attention to the damage they're doing.

China wants us to overthrow our oligarchs because it would result in less American billionaires which makes them relatively wealthier individually.

They don't want good for good reasons. But good for bad reasons still beats bad for bad reasons.

Like, did everyone forget all the talking points about why voting Biden/Kamala was the smart decision?

Right now TikTok is the least evil big social media company, so it makes zero sense to ban them and leave worse up.

For the average American at least, and I doubt your a billion, so I don't know what you're doing...

All of social media needs an overhaul, but I promise you that the Chinese don’t want the American society to do well.

The Chinese want very similar social upheaval that the billionaires do, but for different reasons, and mostly worse ones.

Foreign governments don’t care if there’s civil war, they may even desire it.

…… not that there aren’t some western idiots clamouring for the same, both are awful.

Hah! So you want to respond but you don’t want me to? Interesting.

The whole article reads like an advertisement.

I’m fairly certain it is.

The Chinese really like having control over major western social media outlets. They realized the power it gives them, and they’re so terrified by the power social media algorithms have that they released a major statement to all platforms operating in China that the social media algorithms are not to create echo chambers and must abide by a set of rules by June I think?

Yeah the rules they put out showed fear of the power these platforms wield and rightly so.

China is losing TikTok effectively, and they want users to move to the next Chinese platform. This article is an ad for it.
