I love '60s music - it's the majority of what I currently listen to - but I'm not sure how many lemmy users will be interested in that era.
What was interesting about Spotify was: the younger generation were given discovery suggestions, and my youngest kids and their friends were starting to have 60s and 70s songs in the regular playlist.
I know I went through a British Invasion phase.
I've got a decent handful of songs from the 60s in my playlist rotation, but it's not my "era" for sure. The important thing, I guess, is that the community is there and can expose the young'uns to some great classics.
Oh Phil Spector, you magnificently-talented raving homicidal maniac! If only you had just produced incredible music instead of... the other thing you also did. Burn in hell, you visionary, you.
