He doesn’t know how tariffs work.
Those countries don’t pay the tariffs. We do.
Dumbass is literally just making stuff more expensive for Americans. It’s only worth it if you’re trying to protect national industries.
But barely any companies make anything here anymore.
None of his supporters know how tariffs work either, all he has to do is sound belligerent and they swallow it.
This. G**gle searches for tarrifs and what they are skyrocketted after the pumpkin came into office. Buncha idjits.

After Brexit searches went up asking what that was. People are thick.
Trump does know how tariffs work. At least enough to know the consumer ultimately pays.
He’s not the sharpest tool in the shed, but he knows how to kayfabe. Don’t assume that what pretends to know is what he actually knows.
He knows and by making EU products expensive he is forcing the consumers to buy US products or save their money. Protectionism isn’t new to the US, that’s how it built up its industrial base in the 19th century. Now how this will truly play out is to be seen.

I have been told that Wisconsin makes good cheese. Not sure why people are upset.
It would work if the US made stuff. We don’t.
They’re simply isn’t a manufacturing base. It was disassembled and sent overseas over two decades ago.
