What is global news?
Something that happened or was uncovered recently anywhere in the world. It doesn't have to have global implications. Just has to be informative in some way.
Post guidelines
Title format
Post title should mirror the news source title.
URL format
Post URL should be the original link to the article (even if paywalled) and archived copies left in the body. It allows avoiding duplicate posts when cross-posting.
[Opinion] prefix
Opinion (op-ed) articles must use [Opinion] prefix before the title.
Country prefix
Country prefix can be added tothe title with a separator (|, :, etc.) where title is not clear enough from which country the news is coming from.

TLDR: Marriages become less common across all countries, and people are marrying later in life. And there is a 'decoupling' of parenthood and marriage.

Yes, in general this is the trend. In China, however, we've seen this within an extremely short period of time. As I said earlier, you can't compare different countries with that, especially if we make inferences to population growth and declines.
Yeah it's more of a not a good time to get into the bridal business.
I feel to a certain degree the bridal industry did this to itself. It’s like 3-4x the cost when a good or service is for a wedding. They’re getting more expensive while the general population is not making more money. Maybe the really high end places can get away with it, but at some point people will just say it isn’t worth it.
I just went to bridal show, literally everyone there was pushing services outside of just wedding. Writing is on the wall. It's going to be a status thing soon.
