It's not just a desire path but also a shortcut that saves you 7km. They are trying to block it but it's coming back on the side.

Edit 1: Update, how it was going...

Edit 2: How it's going now... They blocked the previous path and guess what? There is now another desire path, under the tree.

haha nice. start bringing 1 flat rock with you at a time and you can easily build your own path, especially if others see what you're doing.
