Went to visit this godforsaken place and was terrified by the amount of racist/xenophobic/nazi/misogynistic/incel/far-right posts and comments.

Was it always like that? Am I too used to being on Lemmy (or Fediverse in general)? Is it just my feed or is it like this for everybody?

Your algorithm I guess - I hardly see any political content there and when I do is mostly the opposite, or satire.
