@BombOmOm@lemmy.world I doubt very much that the USA could stop the Russians, even if they wanted too.
Years of pumping Ukraine full of cutting edge western weapons to the point of bringing both the EU's and US's weapon stockpile dangerously low couldn't stop Russia, there isn't anything the west can do to stop Russia.
