Privacy has become a very important issue in modern society, with companies and governments constantly abusing their power, more and more people are waking up to the importance of digital privacy.

Not by default, but then most Firefox recommendations are not made with the default settings in mind. Given that context, yes it is actually as privacy friendly as everyone says.
What settings do I need to change?
