MODERATORS
All of that sounds horrible! That most enjoyable content I have found is the Linux/FOSS discussion like you said. For me it seems like all of the fediverse is either discussing Linux/FOSS or doomscrolling leftists and libs complaining about trump. The latter really does creep into every discussion too.
We gotta find better coms man
