MODERATORS
International reaction is slow on actual retaliations. Europe failing to announce aggressive specific measures on Monday will be a bad sign. Absolute shameful disgrace for them to commit further to US empire's Ukraine/Russia mission, even as Macron said some stern words against tariffs.
Other than China, Carney is only one to impose tariffs on US. Low hanging fruit that directly benefits Canadians and other colonies is to publicly cancel F35 purchases, and other US weapon systems. There is an impression that they are privately paused, but that is simply not as strong as either a public pause or cancellation.
Boeing, Catterpillar, and Deere all have international competition and are easy to destroy through global boycotts or high tariffs. China retaliation has effectively killed the US's largest energy export market, and Europe needs to tariff or price cap US energy. Europe needs to pull off bandaid of begging for US leadership. It will be a much longer process of deposing US agents in their rulership if they continue treachery against their people.
Obviously also, the tariffs are a major attack against US companies, and the broad ownership of them throughout US society. Even if EU traitors lick the diaper, those US interests will pressure WH. Shelves will be empty as businesses wait for tariff cancellation before ordering new product. In Soviet US, there were no breadlines, but the avocado and toaster rations were insufficient to satisfy the avocado toast fad.
