Unpopular take: If you're into YouTube but can't afford the premium, watching some ads ain't so bad. I mean, YouTube's like this treasure trove of awesome stuff, tons of valuable info for free. So catching like 30 seconds of ads here and there seems like a pretty fair trade-off
if Google was a good company you may be right, but it isn't.
You know it's just a matter of time till they gut premium, corporations always peddle real value till they strip mine the fuck out of it for increased profits.
Also I'm not giving google any money because they would literally destroy the internet if given the chance.
You own your computer, you should at all times have full control over anything that runs on it.
