It's not just the size. It's also the way the sound of typing will bother everyone else in the room.

The upper image shows a circular keyboard - that is a literal circle with a 20 key diameter - with Chinese characters on the keys. The lower image shows a single office cubicle with six of those circle keyboards around a monitor with the center keyboard having a trapezoid shape. I'd estimate there are more than 1000, closer to 2000 keys on all seven keyboards combined.
