I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but here's a list

• I don't like when the mechs have little drones
• I don't like when they control the mecha with their minds, they should be flipping switches and shit
• I don't like duels, I get their utility to the story, but the mechs should be getting more indiscriminately destructive as they get more powerful and dueling just doesn't work with that
• They shouldn't get too close to the original UC story, even in an alternate universe, there is just too much meaning loaded into characters like Char for them to fit in a new story
• The mecha don't feel big enough, one of them falling should destroy more stuff around it
• Newtype stuff should be more in the background
• It seems like a pretty space-based story, and mecha battles on land are just better
