That type of lib pan-europeanist in france and the uk doesn’t love germany, thats more a thing in the old allies and puppet states of germany (Lithuania, Croatia, Hungary, etc…)
We haven't talked to the same libs then, all the ones I met are very sympathetic to Germany
I live close to the french border so it's probably because it's mainly Alsatians or the french people there, who I've met.
