TBH this finally pushed me over the edge. It was surprisingly easy - just
s/firefox/librewolf/in my browser config file, and thenprivacy.clearOnShutdown_v2.cookiesAndStorage = false(I don't want to log in to all my work accounts every time I restart the browser). I didn't even notice the switch TBH.
