Mounties require far more training, earn less, work more broadly, need more security checks, and have less support than metro cops.

It's baffling how they want to recruit people when cities are gaga about getting pricy metro cops to soak in the lo¢al connections.

Let's conscribe their work function to only federal only major crimes, then, because having a direct progressive route from rookie to federal investigator that leverages experience is .. dumb?
