Trump is threatening to jack up tariffs on China by an additional 50% unless Beijing abandons its retaliatory duties on U.S. imports.

Trump in a Truth Social post gave China until Tuesday to undo its 34% tariffs, imposed in response to the "reciprocal" duties unveiled at the White House last week.

Trump also wrote that he will cancel all planned talks with China if they do not comply with his demand.

If they bomb your local city and then collapse does that change the fact they bombed your local city?

i doubt very much that they want a nuclear wasteland next to them nor do they have any history of using nuclear weapons; however europe's ally does and they're already in the process of screwing over europe more than russia could ever hope to achieve.

UK and FR have ~500 nukes, more than enough to ruin Russia.

Lol, who doesn’t have a history if using nuclear weapons? The successor state to the nation that regularly tested nukes?

[-] eldavi@lemmy.ml -1 points 11 months ago

There's always a first for everything and it isn't as if the Kremlin being run by decent caring people who have what's best for people in their hearts.

They are in fact quite bad possibly worse than the USA.

they could only wish that they were worse than the usa; we're king when it's comes to committing genocides and fostering political violence.

we're so good at it that our victims refuse to believe it happened, even when you have proof.

The UK, Netherlands,Spain, Portugal and France would like to have a word with you about your genuine lack of history.

[-] eldavi@lemmy.ml 1 points 11 months ago

they WERE the kings; we ARE the king.

[-] RowRowRowYourBot@sh.itjust.works 2 points 11 months ago

IDK France and The UK have been keeping up

[-] eldavi@lemmy.ml 0 points 11 months ago

definately contenders, but we're more sophisticated at screwing over people; so much so that a majority of the people we've screwed over refused to believe that they've been screwed over, even when you present with them proof that we screwed them over.

Russia wouldn't care, because Putin would be able to hide away on some cozy island in Oceania or wherever.

there wouldn't be anyone left to care after the nuclear holocaust takes place.
