Reminds me of when libs were celebrating the death of a Russian tourist from a shark attack, just because he’s Russian.
And of course by “reminds me” I mean it highlights the stark difference between us celebrating the death a soldier of a genocidal apartheid state in an occupied zone and libs celebrating the death of a civilian because of his nationality.
Isn't military service compulsory in Israel though?
So really any male Jewish citizen of Israel would be a former soldier?

It's also technically mandatory for Jewish women, although you can just refuse to serve of course.
That’s intentional. But it doesn’t change the fact that they are soldiers. But he was still on reserve so he was probably more into it than just the compulsory service.
Plus they can always take jail time instead of joining the genocide squad. It’s still a choice.
