Canadians using Twitter/X are being bombarded by misleading right-wing posts designed to boost Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre and tarnish the reputation of Mark Carney.

The FT’s analysis finds a growing volume of that misinformation is coming not from Russia or China, but the United States.

Even on YouTube I'm seeing a lot of conservative shit just popping up out of nowhere.

I was recommended far right Canadian content on Reddit

I just wanted to sports scores, not hear people complain about how bad education and health care in Ontario are and how we need a Far Right Federal government to fix it. And no you aren’t only a true Canadian if you vote Conservative, you aren’t Canadian at all
