Apps are very unstable, lots of things break when using apps. I personally prefer using the web UI. Also, since Kbin and Lemmy are slightly different, there might be compatibility issues. First try using your instance on a browser, if it still doesn't work, then it's a Kbin/Lemmy compatibility issue.
