GTA VI you mean?
Also unfortunately Windows is getting more locked down all the time, with newfangled things like kernel-level DRM and such.
Still way better than the consoles, though, so keep up the good fight.
Oops corrected. Also i'm on linux, so haven't noticed or cared about Windows issues. Don't play games with anti-cheat either.
Same. Made the switch to mint a couple months ago. It's got a few quirks but it's way better than windows.
Even better re using Linux. I just made an assumption there.
Newest steam survey shows windows installs down to about 97% of gaming rigs, down a percent from last year. The Steam Deck is doing the work to get devs onto more open platforms for release. More and more nails are added to the windows coffin every day, I suspect 2-3 console generations from now windows will still be dominant in the gaming ecosystem, but only barely.
Given how many people will either have no security updates or buy extremely expensive highly tariffed new computers, the Windows user share will naturally go down over time. Windows 11 is a box of coffin nails that are slowly getting hammered in.
