I don't think "oytdoor cat" is a thing. That just a feral cat that someone feeds. I say let them in, I bet they won't want to leave.

I have 2 cats and the orange one (of course) escaped and was locked outside until 5am when someone woke up and found her laying on the door. She bolted in and never ran again. lol this fat cat learned her lesson.
