I'm just baffled how anyone uses a stock launcher on ANY version of Android, from ANY era, on ANY device.
I have not used a stock launcher of any Samsung phone ever in over 15 yrs because they are all shit. And if it's not total shit, nxt yrs OS update will undoubtedly MAKE IT SHIT.
Rinse and repeat every year. God I feel sorry for you people. Having to have your settings erased and retrain your muscle memory every OS update. That isn't "fun". It isn't "fresh". It's annoying AF.
TouchWiz going to ONEUI didn't magically make me fall in love with it. Stock launchers are garbage, always have been. Especially with each subsequent update.
Yeah I was of the same mindset for a good while and generally rocked with Nova since forever.
But when that Branch shit came about I dabbled with Neo/KISS/Niagara/Kvaesitso Launchers (which Neo is still the default on my backup locker phone) and others but when I got this Poco F6 I found the system Launcher works fine....🤔
Apart from this stupid thing which I think is more a "Xiaomi/HyperOS thing", and not the Poco Launcher per se

Something I have noticed thou over these years is I really don't spend too much time looking, or interacting with my Launcher so kinda don't care 🙈
The whole Samsung ROM is a pile of shit
That's basically saying Samsung is shit.
Don't agree. The ROM is great. But if you use it as is, fresh out the box? Yes it's completely trash.
You literally have an OS you can do anything with in terms of visual UI customization, and 80% of you just...
Rock stock.
Why the hell are you not using an iPhone? Changing shit is literally the ONLY 1-up Android has over Apple and nobody actually takes advantage of it.
"I want stock Android"
Lololol.
Is that still the case? Sure you can replace the launcher, but things like the quick settings, notifications, general UI elements are all defined by the OS, and the custom ROM scene isn't the same beast it was a decade ago.
This is a genuine question BTW, if you know something I can install to say replace the notification/settings pull-down (and I don't mean "install this random custom ROM that needs root access and hasn't had a security update since 2018"!) then I'll download it right away!
I use Android because I want to install the apps that I fucking want. The launcher is the place where I spend very little time. Stock Android launcher is generally fine for me.
Apps are easy. The UI you interact with a thousand times a day isn't some fuckin nothin burger.
Installing new apps is easy, getting rid of 100 bloat apps is not. Or rather, impossible, except for rootable phones.
