They convince us all it was a 'necessary evil' and that it was actually the more humane approach over any alternative, that much more people would have starved and fought to the death if we didn't nuke them...
They also completely fail to mention how the top generals of the Pacific theater were against the idea, that it wasn't needed to win against Japan as we already had a total blockade, and that they had already intercepted transmissions that showed the at the emperor was willing to surrender beforehand
Yeah but how else would America flex on the USSR?
