I have been thinking about pursuing a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate. I think it would be my best chance to get to go abroad and experience life outside my home country while also being able to work. However, I have heard some mixed opinions on the career, with some saying it's great and others saying it's not and that comes down to the pay. Because getting a TEFL certificate is expensive, I wanted to get some feedback from others to see if it's worth it before spending all that money.
