Dating and hookup apps are designed to be checked as frequently as possible, so that users can be shown advertisements or sold memberships. A great way to accomplish this is to play on people's insecurities. Do yourself a favor and leave the house every once in a while
Dating apps are horrible, but without them I would have never found a partner. I'm a very quiet person and almost none of my interests involve strangers. Same goes for the kind of person I was looking for. I only used the app for one or two weeks before meeting her so I was incredibly lucky. She had spent over a year on there without success before we met.
