so something that can elicit the fervor of righteousness would be good.

I 100% recommend Fanon. If you want a shorter in to similar thinking and similar feeling, you can read "Discourse on Colonization" by Aime Cesaire, who was one of Fanon's teachers and influences. It rips so hard, and it gets me thinking and feelings all kinds of good and bad.
