Because the bulk of society in the US, the working class, has no say in the matter.
Bullshit. The working class is your only hope of fixing this and they're doing fuck all.
Currently, the working class of LA is protesting. There's a chance it spreads now, too, which would be great, but hopefully this also leads to organizing.
