With how everyone always hyped it up I thought I was in for some deep insight and unforgettable experience, but it was just okay. There wasn't anything particularly shocking or notable about it.
"Ass to ass" and the nasty toilet dive are the only scenes I can vaguely remember.
Are you thinking of Trainspotting? Which is also a movie about heroin, but takes place in Scotland.
