Joking aside, the company was started by an old friend and her husband because they craved something across country. It specializes in long distance food delivery.
If they could get stuff shipped here to NFLD that fast? Hell yes. I have a friend ages away who cooks amazing food but I can't have it anymore. Makes me so sad.
Ah, it's not for personal food. It's for restaurants and businesses like the Pike Place Fish Market - and since they've gone corporate, it's only for restaurants that sign up for the service. In the beginning, however, you could say "Man, I wish I could get that Double-fudge Mint Ripple ice cream from Saint Goobersville, Kansatucky, and it would come to your door the next day.
