Feel that. I burned out on writing bullshit software a long time ago. Now I make niche open source tools for Linux / *BSD with no commercial value; it's the only way I can enjoy doing it. Watching my biggest field of interest become flooded with technofascists, scammers, frauds, etc. has really soured it. I hate all the types of people you find in the industry, but now they all get to be replaced with vibe coders and gen-ai prompt inputters. "Creative" jobs are probably the most depressing things you can do.
