Iran isn't going down. They aren't scared. They don't boast. They don't lie. They make threats and then carry them out with planning and decisiveness. There is no path that the us/isisrael have to making Iran go down other than nukes which would result in a response from Russia and likely China too.

isisrael and usa are constantly doing kneejerk retaliations and escalations with no regard for the outcomes. They don't think of worst cases they just assume everything will go to their plan and when it doesn't they panic and do another stupid thing. At this point they have made so many missteps in such a short time it is abundantly clear they will end in a face plant.
