It's just a question don't get all up in my face this time. Personally I think Islam is underrated. They clearly take that shit more seriously than Whitoids take Christianity. Mexican Catholics or Shias who do we rank up top?

I'm going to be forwarding your responses to the Ayatollah so please take this seriously. Please don't be mean to me again.

I'm just asking would you respect them more or less if they did whatever they felt was pragmatic, rather than following the rules of Islamic warfare. Would you like me to explain the rules ❀◕ ‿ ◕❀

This is not a genuine conversion and i dont even disagree with the premise

[-] chaosCruiser@futurology.today 2 points 2 weeks ago

I thought it was genuine. What did I miss?

[-] tastemyglaive@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 weeks ago

Well, I'm not actually making a tier list of religious populations. I admit that part was disingenuous

It's an interesting and genuine question about how we view other cultures than our own. It just happens to be wrapped in a shitpost designed to make the Lemmy.world reply guy following me around on alts go berserk. Well, whoever this is tonight was certainly on one. Not sure communication was achieved.

I view all religion as cancer and people who use their pedophile enabling org as their identity as the enemy of the common good.

[-] tastemyglaive@lemmy.ml 3 points 2 weeks ago

Nah this is an extreme view. Just consider the difference between your average Latino Catholic and your average Whitoid Evangelical. It's apples to oranges.

[-] sunzu2@thebrainbin.org 1 points 2 weeks ago

You are right only one of them deserves the fema camp

From the various sects? You're to be here a long time, my friend. I think a lot of westerners will be surprised, myself included, from the much I never knew, to that I knew and forgot, because what I remember certainly surprised me at the time I learned. I'm of the opinion a fresh post with the basics and some nuances would be very enlightening. I forgot the word some Iberian Peninsula muslims use when they don't kill a sworn enemy when that very enemy seeks their protection, but I think a lot of westerners would be surprised by that as well.

In the remote case you're not an automated agent, do you get paid to do this or was the brainwashing motivation enough?

[-] tastemyglaive@lemmy.ml -2 points 2 weeks ago

The motivation is getting these unhinged replies, and with them a glimpse into your tormented existence

[-] Pudutr0n@feddit.cl -1 points 2 weeks ago

Eh, it can get bad sometimes but it has its moments. I'm actually grateful for the bad times when I experience clarity. They allow me to introspect, reevaluate and grow.

I genuinely hope you find what you need, but not what you're looking for, of course.

Peace.

You're all good with me, just joking around. Take care of yourself. The confusion is expected, Westerners have been taught to deal with the world through abstractions. If you want to be critical of other countries it's especially important to be detailed. People have no cultural or political understanding of Iran. Instead of looking at the rules they follow, people will write entire articles speculating about their decisions first. Because if they tried to understand, they wouldn't have their fancy journalism job... come back anytime for more homespun thug wisdom

All worldviews have blind spots, but it's only easy to spot those of our adversaries. Take care of yourself as well. Good nickname, btw. Very you.
